Lynn Voit, Artist

Lynn Voit owns Lynn Voit Studios in Marathon. She is a dedicated artist and philanthropist, actively trying to preserve the natural beauty and history of the Florida Keys. Lynn grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio. She majored in fashion illustration and design at Bennett College in Millbrook, N.Y. Lynn went on to freelance her fashion and architectural renderings. Lynn taught art at the University of Cincinnati. Eventually, her interest in photography led to a life of sailing the high seas. This eventually led her to paradise in the Florida Keys. Now a 40-year resident of Marathon, she is a full-time watercolor artist.

A feeling of simplicity and serenity is always present in her work. An ex-diver and pilot, Lynn combines her love of the Keys water and skies with the vibrant colors of mother nature. When not in her gardens, Lynn paints commissions for private collectors, interior designers and corporations. Lynn is happy to welcome visitors to her studio by appointment.
