I paint using the traditional method of oil paint on canvas. I’m known for my vivid use of oils that are applied thickly with palette knife and brush, an expression of my inner world using techniques I’ve developed over 10 years of training and experimentation.

I desire to convey my passion for paint and the beauty of the tropical environment with viewers. In 2012 I opened Amanda Johnson Gallery in Old Town Key West. This is where I create my latest paintings and spend most of my days.
