Jeff Dalton, Musician – Florida Keys

Jeff Dalton is a bass player and recording engineer who plays in Key West and Marathon, Florida.

Jeff played his first live show at eight years old with his family’s folk music group, The Dalton Family Singers, who toured the eastern seaboard throughout the 1970s. Hundreds of shows later, Jeff is a session and performing bassist who splits his time between Southeast Florida and Detroit.

After music school at the Interlochen Arts Academy and the Peabody Conservatory of Music, Jeff played with orchestras in Mexico and Europe, returning home for shows in NY, Atlantic City, Baltimore, and Philadelphia. He moved to Detroit in 1990, getting involved in the local jazz and latin fusion scene.

Recently, Jeff has been recording with a variety of artists from the US, Italy, Spain, Honduras, Holland, and Mexico. Throughout his career he has played with The Tokens, Little Anthony, The Association, J.C. Heard, Sheila Landis, Craig Taborn, guitarists Calvin Brooks and Ray West, the Mexico City and Seville, Spain Symphonies, the Lunar Octet, and the Aron Kaufman Dream Ensemble. He continues to perform and record with the Lunars and Dream Ensemble.
